Originally conceived as a celebration of Shakespeare's birthday, The Shakespeare Revue contains work by some of the brightest talents writing during the twentieth century. Compiled by two members of the RSC, the Revue has a narrative thread linking the individual pieces, putting them in the context of Shakespeare's life, his plays, actors and the theatre.

The scene is a cocktail bar, with Art Deco floral motif.
Use of silver foil on the backdrop and for the side curtains gives plenty of sparkle.
